William Tasho, Coach-Facilitator-Assessment

Will is an experienced executive coach, senior talent development professional and a business psychologist by training, with 25 years of combined consulting and in-house experience. His expertise is used to help organisations determine the people capabilities they need to win and to develop a pipeline of high-performing talent aligned with organisational values, desired behaviours and culture. For individuals, this means supporting leaders to unlock their full potential through tailored, strategic, and people-centred development services.

In addition to his consultancy experience, Will has held senior talent management roles in two global businesses, where he has led teams of business psychologists and learning and development professionals. Most recently he has been the Global Head of Talent Management at Hays plc, the FTSE 250 global professional staffing group. Prior to that he held a similar role with Jardine Lloyd Thompson plc (now Marsh McLennan), the insurance broker and risk management specialist. In both roles he worked with the Group CEO and ExCo and had responsibility for the design and execution of global succession planning strategies and senior colleague development.

Will coaches senior executives, partners and next generation leaders to help them set and achieve their professional goals and develop their unique leadership practice. Whilst his coaching style is pragmatic, practical, and commercial in its approach, he balances this with a very natural relationship focus grounded in compassion and kindness. From his in-house experience, he knows first-hand that organisational life can be exceedingly tough, and because it doesn’t happen in isolation from the rest of our lives, it often tests people to their extremes. If they’re to allow him the privilege of coming into their life to work with them, he understands the essential value of building rapport and trust and respecting their inherent worth and value.

He has worked across both the private and public sectors in the UK, and internationally across Asia Pacific (India, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand), Europe (including Germany and France) and the Americas.

Will is a qualified business coach, having trained with the internationally recognised executive coaching school, Meyler Campbell. He also has professional coaching accreditation from the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. He holds a first-class Bachelor of Science degree in Human Psychology and a Masters-level degree in Organisational Psychology. He is also professionally qualified and experienced in the use of 360 feedback processes and a variety of psychometrics (e.g. Hogan, FIRO B, EQ-I, OPQ32), which he uses for both talent development and placement purposes.
