The Mission Performance website uses Google Analytics cookies so we can see which pages help people. Here is the detail, in plain terms.
Do you use cookies?
Yes. Google Analytics sets cookies so we can see which pages people read and whether they sent an enquiry or asked for a sample pack. If you switch the site between light and dark, your browser also remembers that choice.
So what gets stored on my device?
Google Analytics cookies, which give your browser an identifier for this site, and the light/dark choice if you set one. We do not put your name or email in those cookies.
Do you track me?
We measure visits, pages, and those two actions. We do not send your name or email to Google. We do not sell anything about your visit. We do not use this to advertise to you on other websites.
Then how do you know which pages people read?
Google Analytics, and a separate visit count from our host that does not use cookies.
How do I switch it off?
Use your browser's cookie settings, or Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Clearing cookies removes the current identifier.
What about the videos?
A few pages have a YouTube video. We use the privacy-enhanced player, which stores nothing until you press play. Press play and YouTube's own rules apply. Leave it alone and nothing happens.
Do your servers keep a record?
Our host logs the usual technical details of a request — your IP address, your browser and the page you asked for — to serve the site and block abuse. That is a server log, not a cookie, and we do not use it to build a picture of you.
