Coach

A private thinking partner. Talk or type when you need to work through a hard conversation, a decision, or something you just learned — using your company’s own playbook.

Turning Learning Into Action

Your people already know what good looks like. The challenge is making sure it shows up in how they actually perform.

COACH is the layer between learning and performance that organisations have never had before.

Available by voice or text. Always on. Built on your organisation’s own knowledge, language and standards.

The Challenge

Organisations don’t have a learning problem. They have a behaviour problem.

Every year, organisations invest heavily in leadership development, technical training, coaching and transformation programmes. People attend. They learn. They understand what they should do differently.

Then operational pressure returns. Old habits reassert themselves. The insight from last month’s workshop fails to show up in today’s difficult conversation. Critical knowledge sits locked in documents no one consults at the moment it matters. New starters spend months rebuilding contextual understanding that their predecessor could have handed over in minutes.

This is the knowing–doing gap. It isn’t a people problem — it’s a structural one. There has never been a reliable layer between the training room and sustained performance.

COACH closes that gap.

"Without reinforcement, most learning decays within days of a formal event."

"Role transitions create productivity dips that can last 3–6 months."

"Most organisations can't access coaching at scale — availability, cost and scheduling make it impossible."

"Most organisations do not need more learning. They need the learning they have already invested in to show up consistently in behaviour."

What is COACH?

The reinforcement layer that makes learning stick

COACH is a behavioural reinforcement, domain specific AI application and capability acceleration platform, built exclusively on Mission Performance’s EMCC-accredited methodology and each organisation’s own approved frameworks, standards and language. As a secure, closed knowledge environment, every response reinforces what your organisation wants people to know and do — no generic drift, no hallucinated advice, no off-brand content.

A thinking partner, not a tool

COACH gives people a private space to think before they act — rehearsing conversations, working through decisions, or preparing for high-pressure moments — by voice or text, whenever they need it.

Built on your knowledge, not the internet's

COACH draws exclusively on Mission Performance's methodology and your organisation's own approved content — procedures, IP, standards, frameworks and language — making them coachable and reinforcing them long after formal training ends. COACH is built to close the gap between knowing and doing.

The missing layer between learning and performance

Development ecosystems are usually fragmented — learning in one place, knowledge in another, coaching happening occasionally. COACH connects them, sitting between the training room and real performance to reinforce behaviour long after formal interventions end.

What benefits does COACH deliver?

McKinsey’s Global Institute stated that ‘in an AI-driven world, the fastest learners will win’. But general purpose LLMs are not good enough

So, learning must be driven by, and compliant with, an organisation’s context. Compared to other Domain-Specific AI applications, COACH delivers on this both for the organisation and the induvial end user

What COACH means for organisations

Faster capability; Faster Time-to-Competence. At scale.

Compressing the productivity dip when people enter or move to new roles, COACH is trained on your domain, roles, policies and SOPs, so people reach competence sooner — across entire populations, not just individuals.

Decisions you can trust.

Every interaction stays aligned with your approved policies, workflows, strategy and values — including high-risk, high-assurance use cases and content that changes over time. Standards, behaviours and frameworks are applied uniformly across teams and sites

Operational risk reduction.

Reinforcing correct decision-making and escalation standards under pressure

Institutional knowledge retention.

Makes institutional expertise searchable, accessible and coachable — so it survives churn, retirement and reorganisation.

Behaviour changes — becomes consistent and stays changed.

Over time COACH becomes the reinforcement layer for everything your organisation has invested in. Learning from programmes gets revisited and applied. New behaviours become embedded. What people know starts to show up in how they perform.

Learning transfer and ROI.

Reinforcing what people have already been taught, long after programmes conclude

Scalable coaching.

Extending developmental support to the whole workforce, not just the senior leaders with budget for a human coach.

What COACH means for individual end users

Faster competence in role.

Through role-specific knowledge, a compounding memory of you and your context, and an accredited coaching methodology behind every interaction.

Private and confidential. Always.

Security you can verify, not just take on trust. COACH is SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certified, with security controls continuously monitored through Vanta — the trust management platform used by over 16,000 organisations worldwide. That means COACH’s compliance isn’t a once-a-year snapshot; it’s checked automatically, around the clock. Every conversation people have with COACH sits behind an independently verified security posture which can be inspected at any time

A private thinking partner, always available.

No scheduling. No waiting. No one watching. Support in the moment it matters — before the conversation, between the meetings, after the difficult event

I was impressed and surprised by just how good COACH is, and I think there are a few features that really stand out. Firstly, a traditional coaching relationship rarely addresses problems in real time for the coach. Let’s say you had a challenging day at work and that evening you are wrestling with how to tackle a pressing issue. COACH by MP is on-demand and can help you arrive at an approach you can put into action the following day! Effective and timely, this is good value for money. Secondly, and more importantly, this proprietary product has been trained on carefully curated materials drawn from Mission Performance’s expertise in driving behavioural change, and it also leverages specific client IP and context. This makes it bespoke and a standout resource for learners and practitioners.

Traditional coaching improves thinking occasionally. COACH improves behaviour daily.

Support where it matters most

What does COACH help with?

COACH helps people with the challenges they face every day — the ones that don’t come with a manual and can’t wait for a scheduled coaching session. Examples include:

Human performance and working relationships

Leading under pressure · Difficult conversations · Giving and receiving feedback · Building trust and influence · Managing conflict · Communication and presence · Confidence and resilience · Decision-making · Delegation · Team effectiveness

Role-specific knowledge and capability

Whatever your role demands — COACH is configured with your organisation’s frameworks, standards, procedures and decision logic. So whether you’re a frontline supervisor in a refinery, a newly promoted manager in financial services, a nurse navigating a complex case, or a sales leader preparing for a high-stakes client meeting, COACH gives you coaching that’s grounded in your actual context.

Preparing for a difficult performance conversation

A manager uses COACH to think through the situation, rehearse how they’ll open the conversation, anticipate how the other person might respond, and prepare for different scenarios — before they walk into the room.

Accelerating into a new role

A newly promoted leader uses COACH to get up to speed with their organisation’s leadership framework, understand the decision logic for their new function, and rehearse situations they haven’t faced before — in the first weeks, not the first months.

Applying learning from a programme

Three weeks after attending a leadership programme, a participant brings a real situation to COACH — exploring how the frameworks they were taught should apply in a live case, right now.

Reinforcing a safety behaviour

A site supervisor uses COACH to debrief a near-miss event, reflecting on what happened, what standards apply, and how they would handle it differently next time.

How COACH works

From first interaction to lasting change

COACH listens, questions and challenges

COACH doesn’t just answer — it coaches. It questions your assumptions, helps you see the situation from different angles, challenges your thinking and helps you identify what you actually need. It draws on six distinct coaching approaches — from Challenger to Supporter to Strategist — adapting mid-conversation to what serves you best.

La perspicacia lleva a la acción

Together you arrive at insight and commit to action. COACH helps you translate ideas into specific, role-relevant steps — grounded in your organisation’s frameworks, standards and language, not generic internet advice.

COACH remembers

Unlike generic AI tools, COACH builds continuity over time. It recalls previous conversations, recognises patterns and builds an increasingly rich picture of your development. Every interaction compounds the last. The relationship gets more useful the longer you use it.

You bring a real situation

COACH starts where you are. You describe what’s on your mind — a conversation you need to have, a decision you’re facing, a situation you want to prepare for, or a behaviour you’re trying to embed. Voice or text, whenever you’re ready.

How is COACH different?

Not a chatbot. Not a coach-matching platform. Something genuinely new.

The AI-enabled development market is growing fast. Most platforms fall into one of two categories: Generic LLM AI assistants (like ChatGPT) that generate information from public internet sources, and Domain-Specific AI coaching platforms. COACH is neither.

COACH differentiates itself from other premium solutions in several ways. Its combined use of Mission’s behavioural change IP along with role-specific and client curated knowledge provides unique benefits in terms of speed to competency-in-role, optimising compliance, reducing risk and retention of institutional knowledge. Further differentiation comes from its levels of confidentiality, coaching archetypes, plug ins and voice-text integration.

Who is COACH for?

COACH creates value across your organisation

L&D Leaders

COACH extends the impact of your programmes beyond the training room and gives you visibility into reinforcement activity. Move from measuring participation to evidencing behavioural change.

HR Leaders

Support capability development, leadership effectiveness and culture change through continuous, scalable reinforcement — without proportionate cost increases.

Operations Leaders

Reinforce standards, accelerate competence and improve decision quality. COACH turns coaching from an occasional event into operational infrastructure.

Safety and Human Performance Leaders

Reinforce critical behaviours, escalation standards and decision logic at the moments when pressure is highest and habits are most likely to fail.

Transformation Leaders

Sustain behavioural change long after your programme has ended. COACH keeps the desired behaviours visible, relevant and reinforced as operational reality reasserts itself.

Executive Sponsors

A scalable mechanism for ensuring your learning and coaching investment shows up in performance — with aggregate evidence, without exposing individual conversations.

COACH is particularly valuable in organisations with high internal mobility, safety-critical or regulated environments, large-scale transformation programmes, existing learning investments to protect, or a need to scale coaching beyond the senior few.

Security, privacy and trust

Built for organisations where trust isn’t optional

Your data stays yours

Everything loaded into COACH — your frameworks, standards, IP and content — remains under your control. It is never used to train public AI models. If you leave, it is deleted. You own it throughout.

Your conversations stay private

What individuals say to COACH is private to them. Managers cannot see it. HR cannot see it. IT cannot see it. This isn’t just a policy — it’s how the platform is built. Privacy is the precondition for honest reflection, and honest reflection is how behaviour changes.

Enterprise-grade security

Multi-factor authentication. Role-based access aligned to your hierarchy. Encryption in transit and at rest. Full audit logging. Continuous monitoring aligned to SOC 2 and ISO 27001 frameworks. Configurable to your own IT governance standards.

Privacy means HR cannot access your conversations. Security means bad actors cannot compromise the platform. COACH delivers both.

Preguntas frecuentes

Questions we get asked most

For organisations For individuals

¿Es COACH un chatbot?

No. It may look conversational, but its purpose is not general conversation — it is consistent behavioural change at scale. A generic chatbot answers prompts. COACH reinforces specific behavioural standards and translates learning into role-relevant action. The difference is structural, not cosmetic.

Does COACH use the internet to generate its responses?

No. COACH operates as a closed, controlled knowledge environment. It draws exclusively from Mission Performance’s curated methodology and your organisation’s approved content. It does not search, scrape or pull from the public internet. Every response is aligned to your standards — not generic internet opinion.

Why not just use ChatGPT?

ChatGPT generates information from open, uncontrolled sources. It has no memory of your context, no coaching discipline and no understanding of your organisation’s standards or language. COACH reinforces behaviour from a closed, validated knowledge base, builds context across months and challenges rather than just answers. One generates information. The other changes behaviour.

Does COACH replace our human coaches?

No — it extends them. Human coaches do their best work in high-stakes, relational and complex developmental conversations. COACH provides the frequency, availability and role-specific reinforcement that human coaches cannot deliver at scale. Together they are more effective than either alone.

How secure is COACH?

Security is built into COACH from the ground up, not added on afterwards. Controls include multi-factor authentication, role-based access aligned to your organisation’s hierarchy, encryption in transit and at rest, full audit logging and continuous monitoring aligned to SOC 2 and ISO 27001 frameworks.

Can COACH be configured to our organisation?

Yes — this is central to what makes COACH different. COACH can be configured by role, function, site, business unit and operating context. It can be anchored to your language, standards and frameworks. Mission Performance handles setup, knowledge base configuration and user onboarding.

Does COACH scale?

Yes. COACH has been designed specifically to remove the supply constraints that limit traditional coaching. It can support individuals, teams, functions and entire organisations simultaneously — at a fraction of the cost of one-to-one human delivery.

How do we know it works?

COACH is built on Mission Performance’s 25+ years of behavioural-change delivery and EMCC Global EQA-accredited methodology, applied in high-stakes environments across leadership, safety, communication and human performance. COACH launched in December 2025. Early user feedback is positive and enterprise pilots are in progress. We are building the evidence base and will share outcomes as they emerge.

Are my conversations private?

Yes. The content of your conversations is private to you. Your manager cannot see them. HR cannot see them. IT cannot see them. No one but you. COACH is designed around psychological safety — because people only open up honestly when they trust the space, and that’s when real change becomes possible.

Does COACH remember what we've talked about?

Yes. COACH builds continuity across conversations. It recalls context, recognises patterns and builds a progressively richer picture of your development over time. That memory is encrypted, private and yours — never shared, never sold, never used to train public AI models.

Can I practise conversations and presentations?

Absolutely. This is one of the most powerful uses of COACH. It can simulate a conversation partner — challenging your thinking, pushing back, asking the hard questions — and give you feedback on how you handled it. Many users find they go into difficult conversations significantly better prepared.

Can I trust what COACH tells me?

Yes. COACH is grounded in Mission Performance’s EMCC-accredited coaching methodology and your organisation’s own approved content. It does not generate responses from the public internet. Everything it tells you is aligned to your organisation’s standards and to proven coaching and behavioural-change principles.

Is COACH available all the time?

Yes. No scheduling. No waiting. No dependency on anyone else’s availability. COACH is available whenever you need it — before a difficult conversation, between meetings, on the way to a site visit, after a challenging interaction. Two to eight minutes is all most interactions take.

Can I talk to COACH, or do I have to type?

Both. COACH supports real-time voice and text in the same conversation, and you can switch between them without losing context. Most people find voice feels more natural for coaching-style conversations — but the choice is yours.
